Ingredients

  • 1/3 cups Quinoa boiled in 2/3 cup water and left to cool completely -(visit

  • 18 Medjool Dates (pitted)

  • 1/2 cups Raw Almonds

  • 1/3 cups Crunch Peanut Butter

  • 1/4 cups Raisins or Sultanas

  • 1 tbsp Cocoa Powder for Serving

Directions

  • How to Make the Date and Almond Quinoa Bliss Balls
  • Pulse the pitted Medjool dates and raw almonds in a food processor until finely chopped.
  • Add the quinoa mixture and the crunchy peanut butter and pulse until the ingredients are combined.
  • Gently stir in the raisins (or sultanas).
  • Roll the mixture into 12 balls and chill in fridge for up to an hour.
  • Dust the balls with the cocoa powder.
  • Recipe Hints and Tips:
  • You can freeze the Date and Almond Quinoa Bliss Balls.  Just pop them into a zip lock bag for up to two months.

      Diana, just some suggestions: tahini, pepitas, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds and freenut butter. 🙂
