  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 tbsp Golden Syrup
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar To serve

Quinoa Breakfast is something I hadn’t tried until now. It is kind of like a chewy nutty feel with the yummy sweetness of golden syrup!

 

Method

  1. Bring the water to a boil then add Quinoa.

  2. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 10 - 12 minutes.

  3. Remove from the heat and let sit for further 5 minutes.

  4. In a separate saucepan, combine the butter, milk, golden syrup and cinnamon.

  5. Stir in the Quinoa.

  6. Divide the mixture between bowls and top with a sprinkle of brown sugar and almonds.

  7. Serve immediately.

  8. Serve Quinoa Breakfast with any of your favourite nuts or fruit!
