Ingredients can be adjusted, if you don’t have breadcrumbs to top it with that’s fine. Or add more cheese if you want to no one will judge.

This Mac ‘n’ Cheese recipe is loved by the whole family. Even guests seem to crave it from time to time that I get requests to serve this when they visit.

Quick, cheap, simple and delicious? Sounds like the perfect recipe for any SAHM.

Method

  1. Place the butter in a saucepan until melted.

  2. Add the macaroni, milk, cheese, salt, and pepper to the butter and slowly bring to boil and let simmer for 12 -15 minutes.

  3. Make sure you keep the heat low to medium and stir constantly to prevent the milk from curdling!

  4. Place in an oven-safe dish, top with cheese and breadcrumbs, and bake in a 180-degree oven until brown and crisp.

  5. Mac N Cheese is not suitable to freeze.

  6. This is also a special meal for lunch. Serve with a side of veggies and yoghurt for a filling meal

  7.  Add any extras like bacon, ham etc.
