The donation has been carefully thought out, so shows thought. Most is going to research into prevention and ways to fight the fires more effectively. I think that's fantastic as I was watching the news the other day thinking we needed to use technology to find more effective bushfire fighting techniques - ones that don't involve throwing people in front of unpredictable infernos. There has to be a better way. Hopefully the money won't be administered by the government who will waste it.

He has a wonderful philosophy on sharing when you have more than you need. A constant 'giver'. He has my respect.

Rich people seriously can't win. Don't donate, people complain they aren't using their money to help. Donate, people say they are only doing it for tax reasons etc. Just be glad it's helping people in need.
