Honestly, a good robe or snuggie. They're the fkn bomb. Mixed with a mint pair of slippers and a few old DVD's

OP here. Mum is in her mid-70's, us kids are all around the 40 mark. To the person the listed ideas, thank you, but none of that will work - don't mean that in a rude way, just that there is a reason for each, ie, not a gardener, doesn't drink, has dressing gown, perfume, book & kindle, pj's, just bought a new handbag, etc

I was coming to ask this too. My mum is 72 and us kids are all in 40s. It’s hard because she has everything she needs. I used to take her out for a pedi, lunch, and movie but can’t do that now! I’ll check in here for suggestions.

My mum has since passed away but my MIL is the next best thing. She's mid 70s and we got her a beautiful vase that she pointed out that she liked (I snuck back and bought it when she wasn't around) and a heated throw. Basically we got her something she really likes and something practical

A takeaway mothers day roast dinner? We did this recently with one of our favourite pubs and it was amazing. We didn't have to do a thing and it was deliscious
