Yes. I did aged care two years ago through allfie. Completed all the work on time, still haven’t found me a work placement to be qualified. Unfortunately...

Don't do it online. You need to be in a classroom and with an organization who has placements organised for students. It is a hard job. Takes a special kind of person to do it.

When done online you can get assistance to organise vocational placements as part of the online course. There is no such thing as a certificate 3 in aged care that does not have vocational placement. It’s called blended learning.

You most definitely do not need to be in a classroom. You also do not need to study with a company that has organised placements, TAFE and every other organisation expects you to find you own vocational placement and can offer assistance if you are unable to.

Online learning is very supported and is a lot more flexible then having to present at class. Although some prefer the classroom structure.

No, but aged care is in demand if you’re looking to change jobs.
