Suspected Bells Palsy

Answered 5 years ago

Any experience? Had twitching for days which started in right eyebrow and has spread to mouth and right arm. Sitting waiting for Doctor now but concerned it may be more as it is in my arm... Any experiences??

Ok. Been to doctor unfortunately at this point I wish it was Bells Palsy. I have now found out I have an issue with my heart and blood not putting enough oxygenated blood into my heart. Not sure how bad it all is yet.

Been referred to Cardiologist now so it's a waiting game. Had another ECG doctor still concerned. I've been feeling very tired and weak so it really sucks. Husband is being a dick doesn't think it's serious at all despite reading all the reports etc. He made a huge fight and now I'm feeling very exhausted today as I didn't get to bed until almost 3 am.

I’ve had it myself twice. Both times I’ve needed physio to help strengthen the nerves again. They basically attached a tense machine to my face and stimulated the nerves. I also had bad headaches and light sensitivity too.
Now I have a slight drop on one side of my face but it’s only noticeable to people when I’m extremely tired or if I’m looking in a mirror and they are behind me. Doesn’t affect my day to day.
Get back onto the doctor because they may just prescribe steroids or you may need physio. Mine also started with the twitching eye.

My adult son has it. He's had a couple of episodes but it doesn't affect his life a whole lot. He'll just have a day or 2 off work and then right back to it. Unfortunately it can affect some people worse than others. Best of luck xx

But it can also just come right on its own, after a period of time.
