Funeral

Answered 3 years ago

Do you think it’s important to add humour to the eulogy ?
My FIL had too many drinks with his brother in law and stripped to their jocks and jumped into the pool
My MIL was mortified and doesn’t want it mentioned at the funeral

For sure. I've been to many funerals and we've had a laugh at every single one. IMHO, funerals should be a celebration of their life ❤

I like a little bit of humour, but it needs to be respectful to those listening. The dead person won't care, they're dead, but if someone as close as his wife doesn't want that story told, then just don't.
