Must be some desperate people out there, especially since it was hacked last time & member's details publicly published.

I'd never cheat on my husband. But I can understand the lure of it.
I'm currently unhappy within my marriage. I feel unappreciated, unloved, and unattractive. It would be easy to get a quick superficial rush from having someone outside our marriage, tell me all the things I want to hear from my husband. However, I won't jeopardise this relationship for something so shallow. I'd rather hear it from the man I love. It would hold much more weight from him, than some fly by night fancyman.
Maybe others haven't worked that out for themselves.
Maybe they're passively waiting for the end of their marriage, and find this to be a suitable distraction rather than actively dealing with their shit.
Maybe they have no moral compass and take joy in cheating.
Maybe they just don't place as high a value on fidelity as others.
Ashley Madison isn't the problem in this equation. It's only a means to an end. It's a symptom of something deeper than "I wanted to fuck someone other than my spouse".
