6 pm are you serious??. My 16 yr old sometimes goes out that late. She’ll either get dropped off at friends house or the movies and another parent will bring her home. That’s on weekends only. On a Thursday night she works so she’s not home til late.

I think 16 is ok to go see a movie and come straight home after. Mine are a couple of yrs younger than that and don’t go out at night on their own yet.

On weekends my teenagers must be home by midnight. Always be contactable by phone and plans aren't allowed to change (I.e Sleeping over at a mates etc unless planned prior to going out) We live in a small country town though so I guess different rules would apply should we have chosen the city life

No I don’t. 6pm is early, especially for a teen going out with friends.
