If you have passports and you aren't court ordered not to take them overseas then just go!
HAHAHA NO FUCKEN WAY! that’s how you get a recovery order issued and child listed on federal watchlist.
Try and agree and if no agreement mediation and then. Court. Do it the right way or risk everything

He won't get a recovery order for a holiday, you have to have a really good reason to stop a child going for a holiday. Already looked into this for a similar situation. If the child has a passport, email the parent a travel itinerary (probably the day you leave so they can't stuff things up for you) and go on your merry way.

Ok I’ll put my law degree aside and let you have one issued and your kids locked down. Look up the term shared parental responsibility. You must agree

^^ agree you’re absolutely right. Taking your child overseas without the consent of the other parent may be a criminal offence. If you wish to travel or relocate outside Australia without the child’s other parent’s consent, you should seek legal advice.

Nope, you really don't need legal advice for this. If OP is telling the truth and he has no concrete reason for stopping them and assume all involved are Australian and this is purely a holiday, then his application won't get approved. www.familycourt.gov.au/wps/wcm/connect/fcoaweb/reports-and-publications/publications/international/children-and-international-travel-after-family-separation

Wrong! That’s what I thought to and 2 days after I got to NZ in my time!!! A recovery order was granted and I had to return. Nothing in our order, not imposing on his time nothing. They judge went off at me and said NO parent is to remove a child from the country unless there is an agreement OR order stating the parent can do so
