What reasons would you have to ghost another parent after a playdate?

Late primary school aged kids (11-12). Just dropping the child off for the playdate so it's not a social thing with the other parent. So parent dropped the child off for the day at my house, picks up later, text them another time to arrange another visit, nothing, doesn't reply to text at all
