Just buy Australian owned & made!

Answered 2 years ago

Yes, it's a little more expensive and harder to find things, but if everyone just switched one product a year it will help over all

This is a nice idea but for people who earn not much money & struggle from week to week, paying extra for something because it's Australia when they can get 2 somethings for the price of that 1 thing isn't realistic. I'll leave to all those people that clearly have more disposable income than I do.

I’m in this boat but am really annoyed by all the cheap plastic rubbish from China - so I’ve been buying second hand as much as possible. It may still be manufactured overseas a lot of the time, but the dollars I spend are staying here, often for a charity or a local selling things on marketplace. I’ve also been making an effort to buy veg as local as I can and go to the local butcher instead of just buying it all in the super market.
