Looking for ideas on a baby girl name. I’d prefer more classic than modern.

I’ve just searched this question and it’s been asked a million times. Sorry!
Maybe I’ll be a bit more specific - we’re leaning towards Emma.
Is that too out dated or does that come under the ‘classic’ category?

Not classic to me. Common I would say. But that's just me. It is a lovely name.

If you think it’s classic and you and your husband/partner both like it, go for it. I know a lot of Emma’s but they’re all around the same age as me not little girls. Emily seems to be more popular in my social circles. How about Alice or Sarah? I think they’re classic and timeless.

I love the name Claire. It’s simple, not too out there but not to uncommon either. I wish I had a girl so I could use it.

I think Emma is quite common. Especially since Emma Wiggle came about. I mean, it's always been popular, but now it's having a resurgence.
In my kids class alone there are 3 Emma's. 3!
