Drivers flipping the bird

Answered 4 years ago

So i was driving to take my daughter to school this morning and trying to change lanes to turn left at the upcoming round a bout. I had my blinker on for around 20 seconds but the guy wasn’t letting me in so i waited for him to pass and the next guy let me in. I waved as a thank you and then the idiot who didn’t let me in stuck his finger up at me for about 5 seconds from in front. I was thinking wtf, he was also in a company car. I took down his number plate and the company name. Should i bother reporting this? It upset me because I actually didn’t do anything wrong. So sick of men feeling like they can treat women like crap and get away with it!!

Yes absolutely report it. I have. They are representing a company and shouldn’t be behaving like that. ( They shouldn’t even if they weren’t representing someone). But I think the company would like to know.

You did the right thing, I had a very aggressive driver tailgating me and many others and they were in a company car- I wish i had reported it too because it is disgraceful behaviour especially in a company car which has customer service standards...the person clearly has no idea and needs reminding on their behaviour. Good on you and thank you

A few years ago I saw a driver stop at a green light and then go through a red. She was all over the road in between. The cars company name and number was in full view so I rang them and put in a complaint. The ladies response was " ooh dear. That's the bosses daughter" I don't know if anything was done but I felt I had done the right thing by reporting it

If a driver driving one of my company’s cars did something like that, I’d want to know about it. I wouldn’t want a bad reputation because someone is acting like a fool in one of my cars. I’d be wondering how many people witness things like that and think , wow, I’m never using that business. And of course they’d then tell their friends.
