What was your car before and after kids?

I had a Camry both before and after but I noticed a lot of friends changed cars when pregnant! Did you?

Commodore before, upgraded to a safer Commodore (curtain airbags, stability control etc...) Just after our first.

Before kids I didn't have a car, didn't see the need as public transport was great in my area.
After kids I drive a Kia. Hubby got a new job which we moved to live closer to. Public transport around here is not so good. Think and hour or longer wait between buses...add 2 young kids and I love having a car now :)

Had a lot of different cars before and after kids. We currently own 4 cars. Didnt specifically change because of kids.

I had a Hyundai Getz and kept it until I was about 4 months pregnant with my second. I just upgraded to a Hyundai i30. It’s great, low maintenance, lows cost to runs, enough room for us all. We will probably upgrade to a small 4wd when the kids get a bit older.

I had a Camry before which lasted 22 years then I got a Corolla hatchback to zip around in. I now have a Holden V8 which is our dream/midlife crisis car. Love it! Our 16 year old will be learning to drive in our Holden V6. Like the big engine cars now.

Mitsubishi Magna but my oldest was uncomfortably jammed between two car seats. Went on a family holiday with the grandparents and hired a Kia Grand Carnival. Came home and bought one. So much room.

Rav 4 before and after. Had one living in Canada and there was so much room to pack stuff in it, so bought one here. We are tall and taking babies out of a sedan was not going to work for our backs.

Kept the same car, honda accord euro (medium sedan). It's almost 15 years old but still goes well. We plan to drive it till it dies/too expensive to fix. Don't plan to upgrade to an suv like I've seen a lot of people do, but we wouldn't mind a hatchback.

Should add, we only have 2 kids. No way would it fit another car seat, so glad we don't want any more.

Nope. Still have my aurion. It’s done well with 2 babies and the many road trips. I’m going to trade it in soon as it’s 10 years old and so it’s time to update. But I don’t want a wagon or Land cruiser or prado like everyone else has. Really like the look of the new Camry.
