If this is unusually high for your family then check around your property for leaks, broken pipes etc. if your bill is always this high, and you’re confident there’s no leaks then I’d look at ways to reduce your water usage.

Definitely. A suspiciously green patch of grass is a good indicator!

It just means you're using too much water. Check your shower heads, dishwasher and washing machine ratings

I useto read water meters. If it's an old meter it's so easy to read a wrong number. One number can make a huge difference. Ask them to re read it.

We get something similar. Also small family with small yard. We do not worry about paying for water so are not frugal. Therefore when the bill comes in it’s no surprise that we use enough for 5 people
