I agree with what others have said, just start slowly and only aim for a short walk. Maybe try and arrange to go for a walk with a friend or neighbour. I always find exercise more enjoyable if I’ve got a friend to do it with.

Just do it. Make yourself do it. Honestly, once you start doing it you'll feel better and more motivated. It doesn't have to be far, you can build it up as you get into it. But you'll find once you start you'll get more energy and feel better

There’s actually a lot of research that says doing a little exercise gives you more energy and helps you sleep better. Although, with a new born the sleep deprivation is likely nothing to do with lack of exercise.

Take it easy on yourself. If you do, keep it light and go for a short walk or stroll around a park. Enjoy the time with bub x

Dont worry too much if you have a newborn, at the most commit to a daily walk with bub in the pram, just tell yourself ‘i will do 15 min’ , you’ll probably find you’ll do more once your out. You can even trick your mind into ‘doing it for the baby’, some times us mums are more inclined to do something for our kids before we do it for ourselves! And look, if you just cant and you are too knackered just forget about it for a month, then rethink then. Enjoy your baby, walking can wait ❤️

Fresh air is good for bubbas too, around the block or even to the corner and back than a cup of tea in your backyard and you have still gotten yourself out

For my kids it was how they slept. Just take a blanket in case baby needs a feed.

Just start with some gentle walking with the bun in the pram. You can easily build up your distance over time. Other than that try some at home yoga/Pilates/strength training - there are lots of options online. The most important thing is to cut yourself some slack, you don’t need to get back in to exercise right away, wait until you’re ready x
