Totally agree I only had two, We could afford another one but it would be a struggle .

I dont think we have the right to say who has kids and who doesnt but I agree relying on benefits is not a good long term plan. Its a hard one to call though. I have 3 kids and I work. I get the before school care rebate so is that welfare? But the only reason it costs so much is beacause the rebates drive the costs up.

I think you need to take it into consideration, as the benefits are getting smaller all the time.

This is why I think child care should be very cheap, and benefits should be a bit higher but capped at one child, and this includes second families, if one parent has a child there is nothing for the second.
