Be aware that you can “be depressed” without “having depression”. Everyone has down days with what you are describing. Usually after some healthy meals and a good rest, you will start to feel better again. Depression is when your body is unable to bounce back after the appropriate care. The switch just forgets how to reset itself. This is when you may need additional medical help. If there are reasons you are feeling this way, it is understandable to have this reaction and you need to spend some time just caring for yourself. If the reasons have been resolved, and you know you should be happy/grateful/thankful etc, but still feel like this - or are not able to give yourself the time and space you need, get medical advice. They can give you coping mechanisms/medications, or they can give you chemical jumpstarts for the switch to correct itself - depending on what you need at the time. 💗

Yes do you know what triggered it?
Best to deal with the cause to help you get over it.
I have gone through this, just acknowledge where you are and tell yourself that it will pass. Allow yourself time to heal. Don’t pressure yourself, when you can think straight enough, force yourself out of bed, make the bed, lie on top. Have a shower put fresh pjs on and sit in front of tv. Take one small step at a time. Each day add a new thing.

I'm really sorry you feel poorly. Your first step is to see your gp and get a professional diagnosis. You could just be going through a bad patch but it's important to know this before putting a label on it. Best of luck 💕

It could be depression, could be an imbalance or could just be that you need rest. The only way to know for sure is to go see your doctor and discuss it with them.

It’s possible, OP. Our advice would be to go and see your GP asap for diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
