The bride bought bridesmaid dress which was a bit small. It split down the side during the photos and wasn't wearable. My boyfriend rushed home and got me something else to wear and the bride flipped her wig and wouldn't let me come to the reception. Our other best friend was also in the bridal party left with me, so they had one bridesmaid and three groomsmen at the reception.

 Best Bridezilla so far 🤣

I had a couple of bridezilla moments.
Bridezilla moment #1: our original date had to be moved because I was pregnant and didn't want to be showing at the wedding. Then the second date was moved to avoid the anniversary of a relatives death - fair enough I was happy to do that. Then the next date had to be moved because another relative had a birthday around then - okay fine no worries. Then the fourth date was a no-go because our best man had to work then - I was a little annoyed now but its fine.
Then, the fifth date, when people started making their excuses as to why that was not ok (they MIGHT have had to work/ they thought they'd schedule a spa weekend then/ their neighbours cat was going in to surgery on the Thursday before and they wanted to be on call just in case neighbour needed emotional support) I had enough. I told them that this is the date of our wedding. They can show up or not, but this is when it's happening!
#2 occurred at the reception and I think I handled it fairly well actually. My new husband was fu***d off outside smoking and having a grand old time. I was inside checking in with guests whether they needed a drink or something to eat, was everything okay can I get you anything. I was mingling and hosting on my own. Then, one of my parents disgusting friends made a pass at me (at my goddamn wedding!!) and I just couldn't take it anymore. I snuck off into the other side of the pub and hid for 10 minutes until I could calm down. I missed a song dedicated to me by my parents, during that time my husband apparently was looking for me, and a couple of the guests were ready to leave and had to wait until I came back.

I'd be pissed too hun. Doesn't make you a bridezilla though, just human 🧡

Yes! My ex SIL who told the makeup artist to make sure our (bridesmaids) makeup is not overly wow because she needs to stand out. I kicked up a stink and said listen here sweetheart my face, my rules. I have a certain makeup preference and ill be telling the makeup artist what to do, now stay in your lane gf. She tried to do the whole im the bride its my day blah blah didn’t work 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lol. Good for you. I would have done the same :)

It is the brides day you should have just gone with the flow and whatever basic makeup she wanted you to have. You sound pleasant kicking up a stink on your brothers wedding day

Sounds like you were the bridesmaidzilla...

Op of this thread! Um no. She gets a say in dresses, shoes, accessories, colour scheme etc but she doesn’t own her maids on the day. I aint going with no flow. And fyi they didn’t get divorced because of my makeup “stink”. She cheated on him so she can shove a whole makeup case up her hoo haa as far as I’m concerned 😊😊

Yeah nah she's not the bridezilla. Her day, she should stand out. Sounds like you wanted the attention for yourself. Not the bride.

She didn’t say to the makeup artist to make you ugly just to not make you stand out More than her and fair enough you shouldn’t be over the top and outdo her

Not sure wher I said I wanted to stand out 🤦🏻‍♀️ But I’m not letting anyone dictate whether I can wear a top liner or not lol

You really sounds like the more nasty one here

You didn't have to say it. Your comment speaks volumes.

This is why I didn't have bridesmaid's. I guess that's my bridezilla moment. It was one day I didn't have to deal with all that crap.

You both sound as bad as each other to be honest 🙄

Would it really have mattered for one day if you didn’t or did wear top liner. You sound like a peach. So your ok with her telling you what dress and shoes and jewellery to wear but don’t mess with the eye liner that’s just too far 😂😂

Op of this post: i agree with u

In a friends wedding the bridesmaids weren't meant to get their hair or make up done. We all had a wash and blow dry at hairdresser before going to the brides house. Didn't get make up done just did our own.

 How is that bridezilla

Telling bridesmaids they can't get their hair or make-up done is being a bride bridezilla.

You had a wash and a blow dry that’s having your hair done, just no up style . She probably didn’t want to pay for it all and thought you were too tight?
