Paragraphs with the new format

Am I the only one who can't make paragraphs with the new format?
It's a point of annoyance for me. I have tried double spacing and it isn't working. It's a shame because if the whole comment is in a block form, it tends to turn the reader off reading it.

Hi OP - our web dev is aware of this and has fixed the issue. We are still finding some things needing tweaking in the new format, so thanks for kindly letting us know.
