Does anyone get bruises when they get their period?

I think I do. I’ve noticed the last few cycles I get bruises on my legs and they are so sore. I haven’t hit myself or anything to get them so was wondering if you can get them due to period?

Low in iron maybe but I'd go to a doctor asap because I think I remember unknown bruising being a symptom of leukemia. Could be completely wrong but still better safe than sorry.

Bruises are a symptom of leukaemia but you don’t just get them when you get your period so I’m sure it’s not that.

Yep. Low iron. I get iron infusions every few months because I bleed so heavy during my period

This could be it then. I bleed so heavily as well that it’s hard to leave the house the first 2 days. I’ll go and see my gp

Yes me and it isn't exactly low iron another deficiency related to iron I can't remember name right now
