My children have beautiful table manners.
They are not pigs.
We might leave a random crumb on tge table but its hardly a mess.
I'm not going to wipe tables or stack plates.
That's the indulgence of eating out.
But you'd know this if you could eat out if you could afford to but the dole doesn't stretch that far does it 😁

The plates are usually taken from in front of us. It’s rude and looks impatient to start stacking plates!

If your children are tossing food on the floor I hope you are going to the kind of restaurants that expect that nonsense.

As for Food courts customers should throw rubbish out and leave plates tidy or return plates if there is a specific place to put dirty dishes, don’t take them back to the counter, service people are serving food , it is unhygienic to have dirty dishes on the counter and they pay the floor staff to clear dishes.

I will pick up anything they drop and rather than stack plates I hand them to the waiter/waitress so they can stack them how they like or carry them how it suits them. Now my children are old enough they do the same. If we were to eat in at say McDonald’s all our rubbish goes in the bin and the tray back where it belongs, I will also give the table a quick wipe with a napkin.

If my child spills food on the floor no matter where we are I will pick it up. If we're eating in a food court I'll clean up my mess. Rubbish in the bin etc at a restaurant I will tidy up aswell, I just think it's common courtesy personally.

Yes always. Especially when the kids were toddlers and food went everywhere. I don’t stack plates because I read something somewhere that waiters hate that as they have their own specific way of stacking etc. but when I’m at a cafe I always return my cup to the counter.

I'll pick up what I can off the floor and table and stack plates up where it's easy for the wait staff to grab. Also if I've used a baby wipe to clean my toddlers hands I'll usually give the high chair and table in front of him a quick wipe.

I tidy a little by stacking our plates and stuff but our kids are older so there's nothing on the floor though. If I recall when they were little I think I left it on the floor though
