Nothing. All the shit and all the what if’s are what have lead me into the life I now have. It’s what has made my children who they are, it’s what has made me who I am, it’s what I needed to realise that I can be happy with who I am and where I’m going.

I remember being on my way to my appointment for an abortion, I was 17 years old and so lonely and afraid. I had never held a child or liked children but half way there I asked my boyfriend to stop the car so I could have one last think .... I told him after I didn’t want to go ahead, he got SO angry it really scared me. I told him I was sorry but just can’t do it, he drove so fast and erratically I thought we would crash.
We ended up divorcing but my son is 16 now and I’m so glad I didn’t do it. I would’ve regretted it for the rest of my life.
I really think there should be more awareness raised on how abortions are performed and the repercussions after of regret and guilt
