Can you use a pen and paper? It maybe useful also there are now badges people can get that say I have hearing problems so may not understand you with the mask on. They maybe worth looking into. Hearing aids can be so small these days, so they do go unnoticed. I know my childs are so small they are hidden behind the ear and unless you are up close and actively looking you wouldnt know, was wearing one.

Yeah, I canceled my telehealth appointment as it would be pointless as I have hearing problems, face to face is fine, but over the phone I struggle. Now I don't know when I can get my appointments

The spit screens between checkout operators and customers are just as bad, if not worse. I can't hear a damn thing coming from behind them

Haha yes it does make it hard to begin with, but with practise its easier. I used to work as a nurse and I am used to it so I can still understand everyone and what is going on. Hubby now takes me to all his appointments and everything so I can do the talking and he doesn't look stupid because he can't understand them either 😂

Omg yes! I just had to get a blood test and the man doing it already had a thick indian accent then top it off with a mask I had no idea what was going on haha.
