Yes, my teenaged BIL told me his gf was pregnant. He literally said, "I guess you have heard the news?" Then looked surprised when I said no. So I repeated the news to someone else and apparently that was me "telling everyone" because nobody was supposed to know. I think it really got spread around by my MIL because it seemed like I was the last to know, she just needed someone to blame because his gf was upset that the whole town knew.
