Am I the only one who doesn't like Costco? Parking was shit, the store was overcrowded, staff and other shoppers were rude and the prices are no better (or worse) than anywhere else
I just don't see what the fuss is. I'll be asking for a refund on my membership

I joined, went a few times then just didn't bother. I didn't even bother to go back to get my membership refunded. I know people who have membership just for the cheap petrol (they work nearby), but I don't want to drive 20 minutes each way just to get petrol. I found products were generally the same price as supermarket specials, so I'd rather go to my local supermarket 5 minutes away. This was a few years ago mind you.

I found the same, I priced everything I bought and it wasn't cheaper most of the time.

^100% My MIL bought bulk paper towels but then found the same brand at big W where she could have more rolls for less money than coctco

It's such a scam. Unless you live close enough to get the petrol. Some of the specials are good, but not worth paying a joining fee.

If you like buying in bulk then Costco is perfect but I only shop for what I need. Food doesn't go to waste in my house

Definitely a bit of a novelty...a giant jar of mayo was exciting to start with until it tasted yuck and took up half a shelf in my fridge!
