Cut broccoli up into bite size pieces. Shake garlic salt over broccoli and steam in microwave for 3 minutes with 1/2 cup water.
In a small saucepan (while broccoli is cooking) heat over high heat and melt butter, add cornflour and squeezed lemon juice into saucepan. Whisk until smooth and it starts to thicken.
Drain any remaining water from broccoli and pour lemon butter sauce over broccoli.
Serve as a side dish with meat, fish or chicken for dinner.
