I’ve been preparing for this my whole adult life. I already don’t have friends to tell not to visit, don’t like to go out much and can happily survive off Netflix and books for 4 weeks. My work is also done online as is my uni.

No dramas here. We can both work from home (on full pay). Have food in the cupboards. Foxtel,Netflix. Husband has Kayo. Children have toys and the backyard. We are set and ready to slay this beast

I'm twitching at being stuck inside with kids & DH, all of whom have music or tv blaring & it drives me insane. But we'd manage.
Other than that my real anxiety is fighting with the panicked mob at the supermarket.

Agreed. I wish the craziness was locked down, it’s really brought out the worst in people.

We live on a large property out of town so a lockdown is no problem. I'll be finishing everything I need to do in town tomorrow then we're off the grid for a while

No. In Italy only one person per family can go into a shop. I'm a solo parent of four young ones, what will I do then? Tape them to the wall and go out? My eldest is 9, whilst I'd be confident to leave her at home unattended, the others are far too young for that and she's not a babysitter. Now that the major supermarkets no longer deliver groceries, how would we eat? Maybe thats what I should do with the stimulus package, buy a flock of chickens (haha, no. Our local council needs to approve all farm animals beforehand.

They're apparently still doing deliveries for people isolating so you should hopefully be able to get them to approve you getting delivery.

I’m antisocial so it’d work out well for me.

Yes i think i would prefer to have everyone I love home & safe. That would calm my anxiety. Might actually be fun (maybe) hanging out, playing games, reading, cooking etc. I'm thankful we've worked hard at our savings so we have a safety net but not happy if at the end of all this it's all gone because we were saving for a specific reason.

Handle yeah for sure but I can't afford not to be at work. Perks of being a casual worker - need to pay rent!!
