So bored of "married sex"

I've been with my husband for 10 years, we have 3 kids.
Our sex life is SO BORING. Frequency is fine, but it is about as exciting as a bowl of soggy Wheat Bix. People suggest toys, new positions, dress ups... but it doesnt make a difference. Still ends up in the same old bed with the same old person with the same old routine.
Sometimes I get so jealous of my divorced friends who have multiple partners on the go...
But I guess thats just one of the trade offs for being in a safe and long term relationship.

In my situation, we only have sex about monthly. I am tired of initiating & either getting rejected, or he is only concerned about his orgasm. The foreplay is not great & he likes to receive oral, but rarely gives it. I want more & better sex. Although, he probably only thinks he gets neglected.

I know the grass isnt always greener, and we are both wanting things to be more exciting, but everythign just feels stale.
We do ok otherwise, and we have frequent sex, it just doesnt come with any fireworks...

So change scerery, do it in the car. Out the back. Hell go to a motel and be adventurous. Let your imagination run wild. Shake things up new hair and personality. Get demanding girl.

Married 21 years with 4 kids. We went through that and decided to make some time for us. Date nights, hotels and vacations sans kids. Helped immensely.

Did that stuff really help much? We enjoy the occasional date night - though havent had any overnighters or vacations without the kids - and it helps a bit, but the actual sex is always exactly the same!
