I use both depending on if I’m going to be home to receive delivery or out and and about for other errands. Saves time. I use both woolies and coles depending on the specials and if I need nappies or not (prefer woolies nappies). I prefer coles for online though, much better service and the website is easier to navigate in my opinion. I also sometimes shop in store at Aldi as well as coles and woolies.

I use the pick up option a lot. I order in the morning and pick up on my way home from school runs. I have 3 kids and I nanny for a family of 7. Shopping with 4 under 3 is a nightmare. Keeping both orders straight so I know what to charge while wearing a newborn, 2 2 y/os in the trolly and 3.5 y/o wanderer disappearing at every blink.... yup we each do our order and I pick up both. I do take the kids to the open market for fresh produce and little treats once or twice a week. I find the store employees don't pick the best fresh items. And my client and I split huge meat orders that last up to 6 mos, so no need to buy much at the grocery shops anyway.

I like to go into the shop and buy shit. I always think about doing the delivery but I'm too lazy to write a shopping list and look online for deals.

Same. I wish there was an app that would meal plan using hello fresh and then help me with all the other shit I need to order online for breakfast lunch and kids snacks.

I love click and collect. I’m working and studying so don’t have much free time. So I’d much rather quickly do an order online and pick it up on my way home from work or something g. It’s takes me like 15 minutes to do an order and 10 minutes to pick it up. In store shopping takes me at least an hour. I don’t have time for that and I don’t want to do it.

Plus it’s better for our budget as I can see the total adding up and cut things out if needed. No impulse buys either.

It suits my life better and I dont think I will stop using it.

I luuuuuuuurve it. If you don't at least try another option, you'll never know what you're missing

I am not lazy by any means but I am frugal and have found that by using home delivery i am saving $50 or more each week because I'm not wandering the aisles of the supermarket chucking random items in my trolley. That's a lot of savings in a year.

I have used both once or twice when in a pinch but much prefer going into the shops. My youngest has food allergies and as a manufacturer can change their ingredients at any time I can’t guarantee things are safe for him unless I read the label every time I shop.

To the person saying "Lazy". Not everyone has time to do groceries. Single parent, shift work, someone who have kids with disabilities, or a dying family member. All sorts of reasons! Not everyone who uses these services are lazy. I needed to do groceries but had surgery and couldn't lift anything heavier than a few kilos and couldn't drive. So it helped to have groceries delivered.

If I am short on time, otherwise shop in store. Often items are missing so I have to go in store anyway, or perishable items like milk they pick usually expire within a few days so won't last the week & get thrown out.
If they improve the service I'd definitely switch as I do everything else electronically.

I had a few perishables close to expiring so I complained to the store and they replaced them free of charge. I still had to go in to swap them over which was a pain but at least I didn’t have to throw anything away. Since making the complaint they’ve been much better at selecting items with a longer use by date, and I haven’t had any issues since.

Delivery- it costs $4. I'm not driving my arse to the supermarket for that. Coles have had free delivery September & October too. I don't understand why anyone would choose to torture themselves by going if you didn't have to.

I've used click & collect a few times without any hassles. Sometimes you can't get the time slot you want which can be a pain.

Both, they're both fantastic for me.
