I tried using an already shaped hard candy under my royal icing but it was too small. Did you use a larger candy or was it just a free-"hand job" ;) I'm a married girl on a WONDERFUL gay guy's bowling league and I bake for them for all the birthdays and holidays...I think they would absolutely LOVE these cookies!!!
