Yes but i usually go straight to my room & take them off when i get home but that's purely a comfort thing. I do the cleaning so I don't give a toss.

My mind being blown is less about the cleaning side, more about how someone can never be barefoot?!?

We have a no shoes inside rule but Iāve always found it so hard to get visitors to follow the same rules, and it feels awkward asking them to remove their shoes.

I'm like this too!! I hate when people wear the shoes in the house I feel so dirty once they leave. Omgosh there is so much shit on people's shoes. I was taught not to wear shoes in the house and I've taught my kids it too.

My neighbour invited me into her house. I noticed their shoes by the door so I went to take my shoes off and they said I didnāt have too. Said they donāt wear shoes inside but donāt expect guests to take their shoes off.

It feels weird to take your shoes off in someone elses house. I feel a little exposed. Shit if I knew you were going to ask me to take my clothes off I would have painted my toenails & made them pretty. Don't look at my feet!

Yep, I were thongs all the time inside. Slippers in the wintertime.
I just feel better with something on my feet, not sure why though

I would be barefoot all the time if I had my way, and have been like that since I was a child. Now I am barefoot in the house, and outside in the yard, until the cold drives me into my ugg boots indoors, and plastic slip ons in the garden and closed shoes when going out.
Which is only for about 3 months of the year, since I live in Brisbane.

Mostly no, but if I'm outside with the kids and just need to duck in to grab something I won't take them off (unless they are muddy gum boots or similar). Do you wash your feet when you come back in if you've been outside barefoot?

With 3 boys under 5 shoes on inside is essential. Usual just wear thongs in the house, but I like to keep something on my feet So itās not so gross stepping in who knows what was spilt. And LEGO doesnāt hurt nearly as much if youāre wearing shoes. I have inside and outside shoes so I donāt walk too much dirt and grit inside.
