It's fine and normal at his age wouldn't worry unless he took them off

Absolutely not.....I'm a single dad my son is 16 and has been doing it for years. I think it's great he's comfortable being himself. Don't stop him it's a beautiful normal thing not weird nothing wrong with it. Good on him
