Maybe they just want better pay?

I’m back at work, kids are in high school. I am in a leadership role, I went for the opportunity because I’m so sick of working for incompetent people who drop their shit on me then put me down. I enjoy working with my peers that are the same age as me and I enjoy the responsibility and pay that goes with it. It’s not about power and control, in fact I have not resorted to that, I use my people skills to get the job done.
