I have made a mistake and reported my centerlink income wrong.

Answered 9 months ago

I have just been putting the same amount of income in each fortnight even if i worked more each week and not realising i was being lazy. i have worked way more then i thought i did. i have been way over paid. will i be taken to court for this? Do i ring up and be honest about what i have done?

They will cotton onto this. You are far better admitting it to them immediately and arranging a plan to pay back money you've wrongly got.
Unless it's a massive amount then it's highly unlikely you'll be charged.
Ignoring it will just mean the repercussions will be worse.
Oh, and stop being lazy.
