PayPal vs bank account

Answered 4 years ago

So I have a lady that wants to buy something from me from Facebook but she's asked if I can post it which I'm fine with. I won't post anything until I get paid first but is it safe to use bank details or should I use paypal.
And if I do get her to pay into PayPal how do I actually do that? Does PayPal have a number like a bank account that I give them or do I give them my email address? How does it work??

I sell a lot online. I typically use PayPal, however, selling on Facebook, I'd be more inclined to have buyers pay into my bank account. I have read so many stories of buyers receiving their item, then opening a false case with PayPal, and getting a refund, along with keeping the item.

Use PayPal. I sell and buy things using PayPal and have done so for years. It protects you both. First you'll have to open a PayPal account. It's not a bank account as such but It Is linked to your preferred credit/debit card. It is best if you have a read of it yourself (there's alot of info) but once you get the hang of it, it's a snap. Good luck :)
