No Bake Peanut Butter Bars
For those looking for a chocolate and peanut butter fix on short notice, these No Bake Peanut Butter Bars are a winner. They great for last minute events because they are no bake and only take 2 hours, which is primarily chilling time. We love the way the peanut butter and the dark chocolate work together in this, and it’s definitely a favourite recipe for us!
Method
Grease and line a square baking dish around 20cm in size.
To a large bowl add all the ingredients for the base. Mix well, ensuring butter and peanut butter are well incorporated.
Pour the base mixture into the baking tray and press into the pan. Smooth with a spoon or your fingers.
In the microwave melt together the dark cooking chocolate and the smooth peanut butter. Once fully melted pour over the peanut base.
Pop in the fridge and chill until totally set, around 1-2 hours. Cut into 16-20 squares, and allow to come to room temperature prior to serving.
