Is hitting a dog animal abuse?
Answered 4 years ago
I've just witnessed a grown male hitting a dog twice and kicking it to tell it off. I yelled out to stop, it's animal abuse. He said it's not blah blah blah. Is this worth me reporting? If so, where do I go and what do I do?

No. If you are allowed to smack a child, I doubt anyone will do anything when the same happens to a dog.....

He didn't just hit it. He kicked it. Is it ok to kick children too?

Call the RSPCA for reporting and for advice - they have inspectors purely for this reason - hopefully you can give them a location so they can follow it up.
