List of Vegan Skincare and Makeup Brands

We are all concerned about the ingredients in our skincare and makeup.  Luckily, we are living in a time where we have access to more brands than ever before that specialise in just that. Cruelty free, vegan, totally organic skincare and makeup that is gentle on the plant, and most importantly, has not been tested on animals.

Many of these brands also invest in biodegradable packaging, packing and even vegan ink on the labels.

As our skin absorbs up to 60% of what we put on it – shouldn’t we care about the ingredients that is going into our blood stream?  Another benefit of vegan brands is that they often have fewer ingredients.  Plus using loads of plant-based products makes it easier for our skin to really absorb them.

This is a ‘Living List’ – meaning that we are adding (or subtracting) the brands as we find them.

Let us know if you have suggestions for us to add!

The cosmetics industry has always come under fire for the quality of ingredients and the cruel testing on animals.  It is good to see that this is swaying the other way – and that we care about the impact of the products we use.  We encourage you to try a vegan brand to see how it compares, and know that you are doing great things for the planet!
