This 5 Cup Festive Fruit Loaf is made from staple items, so you won’t have to leave the house to buy ingredients.

Yep. Only 5 Cups of Ingredients go into this super easy recipe. Usually when you think of Christmas Cakes, you think of hours and hour in the kitchen, soaking fruit and steaming with calico and string.  Not this recipe!

This 5 Cup Festive Fruit Loaf is just a ‘throw in, mix and chuck in the oven’ kind of recipe.

  1. Preheat oven to 160-170C.

  2. Mix together dry ingredients.

  3. Make well in centre and add milk.

  4. Mix well, and pour into a lined and greased loaf tin.

  5. Bake 45 minutes to an hour.

Recipe Hints and Tips:

  • Festive Fruit Loaf can be frozen up to three months.
  • Great one to pop into the freezer for those unexpected guests!
  • This makes a wet mixture. The slower you cook it, the moister it stays.

No bra and pants needed. Or else it isn’t happening today. P.S. All you’ll need is 5 cups to whip this 5 Cup Festive Fruit Loaf! Of course, if you are looking for more of a Traditional Steamed Christmas Pudding, we have you covered there too!
