Schmancy Macaroni Cheese
Macaroni Cheese can be a bit boring but rest assured this one is Schmancy, super delish & easy to whip up in no time! It has a bit more ‘grunt’ than the standard macaroni and cheese, so the grown up’s in the room won’t complain!
Melt butter in saucepan and add flour and whisk. Cook for 2 minutes stirring and whisking. Slowly add milk and stir with whisk over medium heat. Keep whisking for 3 minutes until sauce starts to thicken. Add cheese and mustard and stir through.
Mix sauce into the macaroni, stir through spinach, shallots, ham and tomatoes and pour into a greased pie dish. Top with breadcrumbs and cheese and bake for 25 minutes at 180 degrees until golden brown.
