Common Dreams: What Do They Mean?

#6 – Running or being chased

The awful feeling of urgency, running as fast as you can but not getting anywhere. There is often someone pursuing you, chasing, finding you where ever you hide. These dreams can represent the fact that in your waking life there are issues you just aren’t addressing or facing up to.

#5 – Falling

Sometimes it turns up in your dream as if you’re falling from heady heights. This can present itself as absolutely terrifying or it could be a serene relaxing sensation. If it’s making you fearful it may be an indication that you feel like you’ve lost control of your life. If you’re lucky enough to have the floating, serene sensation it may be as you’ve recently made the decision to let go of something you’re feeling free like a bird.

#4 – Teeth falling out

Sure this could be your dentist getting into your head telling you that there was a reason he has been telling you to floss all these years. Apparently doing it for the one week after your appointment isn’t enough he says! lol
The more widely accepted interpretation of dreams featuring your teeth falling out include that you feel like you can’t speak up about something, or that you are feeling overly anxious or worried about something and should relax as things sometimes aren’t as bad as they seem.

#3 – Spiders

Interpretations of dreams that feature spiders can represent that the dreamer feels like they are being manipulated or even ARE the manipulator. This is because the spider weaves webs and traps so the correlation is taken that way. Another interpretation well okits just mine as it would apply to be spiders = webs (yep that’s the same) but I would think it may reflect the fact that the cobwebs in the corners of my room now resemble the Taj Mahal they are that elaborate they have been there that bloody long. They are the last thing I see as I close my eyesso of course Charlotte and her web would be front and centre starring on the stage that is my dream mind. Brilliant.

#2 – Being Naked

You’re walking around the shopping centre in your dream, going about your normal business. You then happen to look down and realise you are absolutely butt naked. Another common dream amongst us. Don’t worry no one is judging you for being a closet exhibitionist, if in this dream you are upset or even mortified about your lack of clothing this dream can simply mean that your afraid of the world seeing the ‘real’ you. If in the dream you’re strutting your stuff like Beyoncé in her latest clip go you! This simply means you are confident and proud of who you are.

#1- Snakes

Usually these dreams are the kind of dreams where you wake up and check under your bed ‘just in case’. If you are dreaming of snakes this can mean that you are in the process of healing and resolving issues, or on the flip side (there is always a but!) it may mean you’re dealing with a difficult situation or unsettling emotions.

Dreams can be interpreted in many ways. Usually dreams are some obscure reflection of your waking life. It’s your minds way of saying ‘Oi!!! Yes, you! Settle down, believe in yourself and take care of yourself.’ Pretty good advice I’d say.
