That Moment When You Invite Melisandre to a Baby Shower…

In this very funny skit recently shown on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Seth and his wife Alex throw a baby shower together with some of their friends. While it’s usually expected that baby showers are supposed to be fun, positive and upbeat, Melisandre (played by Carice van Houten), from hit TV series Game of Thrones, didn’t quite get the memo on that one!

When each guest offers inspiring quotes about motherhood, Melisandre turns grim and advises Alex  to “Clutch your child close to your breast, woman, for the night is dark and full of terrors.” Oh, how doting.

After getting few pep talks with Seth, Melisandre tries to be natural and conversational by sharing her birth experience to a shadow demon…..

Then just wait and see what she gives to Seth and Alex as a baby shower gift! Priceless!!
