Healthier Honey Joys

This is a healthy twist on a classic party treat, with the goodness of bran plus the sweetness and crunch of the traditional recipe!

The perfect party food or every-day snack the whole family will love!

Method

  1. Place patty cases on baking tray.

  2. Add butter and honey to a small saucepan. Stir over a medium heat to melt.

  3. When mixture starts to bubble, stir continuously for 2 1/2 minutes until it's a golden caramel colour. Avoid using high heat as it may burn.

  4. Remove from heat. Add bran flakes to medium bowl, drizzle honey mixture over the top and mix well.

  5. Spoon into patty cases and refrigerate for 15 minutes to set.

Recipe Hints and Tips:

  • If you prefer a soft texture, simmer for only 1 minute.
  • May be stored in the refrigerator or pantry, in an airtight container.
