  • 2 Onions
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 2 Carrot
  • 2 Celery Stalks
  • 1 Zucchini
  • 1 Caspsicum
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil
  • 2000 g Mince
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Paste
  • 1/3 cup Dry Red Wine
  • 2 Diced Tomatoes tins
  • 2 Pasta Sauce jar
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Stock
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • Salt And Pepper pinch

Here’s a winner to get the vegetables into the kids without them even knowing with this family favourite, Hidden Veg Bolognese, they will never guess!


  1. Add all vegetables into a food processor and process, until vegetables are finely chopped

  2. Heat oil in a large pan and add the vegetables, cooking until soft

  3. In a separate pan fry mince in batches, slowly adding the veggies

  4. Once mince is brown and mixed with veggies, add all remaining ingredients

  5. When boiling remove and place in slow cooker

  6. Cook on high for 4-6 hours

  7. Serve with curly pasta
