Let’s face it, we all have good intentions but sometimes life gets in the way and we don’t complete the baby record book as it was intended. There are some fantastic free apps available where parents can record their child’s milestones, photos, captions and tidbits on a daily basis. Many have the option to invite friends and family to follow your child’s progress. A few examples are Moment Garden, Peekaboo Moments and Tinybeans, but there are many out there.

4. Play-Related Memories

As your child grows, they will become more interested in toys and playing with you. Why not record the first time they “made music” with their rattle? The first time they played hide and seek with you or peek-a-boo back at you? The first time they went down a slide or played on a swing? The baby books normally include the question of favourite toy, but rarely do they mention play-related memories.
