  • 2 cups Water chilled
  • 2/3 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Dairy Free Chocolate Cake is a simple recipe for people who are dairy intolerant because everyone likes chocolate cake. It’s also egg free! Double bonus!



  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease a 23 cm cake tin.

  2. Sift flour, salt, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and cocoa into large bowl.

  3. Add the remaining ingredients and mix.

  4. Pour into greased tin and bake for 40 -45 minutes.

  5. Let cool on racks.

  6. Dairy Free Chocolate Cake is suitable to freeze for up to 2 months
