An Exhausted Dad Tries to Soothe His Crying Triplets With Hilarious Results

An exhausted dad has shared how he tries to calm down his screaming and crying triplets — and it is hilarious!

Brandon Santiago, from Berkeley, Illinois in the US just came back home from a 24-hour-shift as a firefighter and was welcomed by the cries of his eight-month-old triplets, Finn, Kyle and Ava.

He said that one of the babies woke up cranky and the other two followed suit, but Brandon has one trick up his sleeves to calm the babies down, but does it really do the trick?

In a video, Brandon can be seen approaching the three babies, who are placed in their own crib, as he tries to soothe them with tickles and head rubs, but still the third and final baby began to moan.

Brandon then turns the camera on himself to show his mock tears.

Brandon said that the 40-second clip somehow summarises how their daily lives go with his wife, Heather and their four-year-old son, Liam.

“One second the house is nice and peaceful the next, one baby starts crying and the other two quickly follow suit.

“This could be because they’ve lost their pacifier, are hungry or just because they’re over-tired.

“But the result is still the same – three babies crying,” he said.

However, just like any parent, they change diapers, give food and give kids time to play but with a different arrangement, mostly doing these tasks three times over.

“After a quick diaper change, one at a time are sat in a high chair and get solid food while the others play with toys.

“Those two begin to scream and cry because they are a mix of hungry and angry.

“They then all need to be washed off before the food gets everywhere.

“Then each baby needs a bottle that takes about ten minutes, while the other two really let you have it because they are watching you sit there and feed their brothers and sister.

“And this is just for breakfast,” Brandon said.

Despite the hectic days and lack of sleep, Brandon is still over the moon to have such a fantastic family. “I can never explain the enormous love and happiness I feel when I’m with my family,” he said.
